La Mina Social was founded by Josh Moran and Margie Gamez. We are both entepreneurs, one in music, tech and consulting, the other in art, architecture and project management. When coming together, we realized the vast amount of opportunities we could create jointly, and forged a mixture of creative vision and social space. Our collective ethos mirrors the discovery of hidden gems within a mine, as we traverse the musical landscape to curate unforgettable experiences. Beyond entertainment, La Mina fosters a community of unity, where the joy of music is shared by all.
NEW IDEAS BEGIN
In early 2023, we envisioned a groundbreaking concept: to pioneer free, inclusive, outdoor music experiences that celebrate the vibrant spirit of Denver. These events would harness the beauty of our natural surroundings, allowing the community to immerse themselves in great music amidst Colorado's stunning landscapes. Thus, the first rendition of Pulse Picnic was born in June 2023. Our mission was clear: to curate outdoor music gatherings that showcase emerging talent, foster a welcoming environment for all ages, and seamlessly blend the magic of live music with the majestic backdrop of the outdoors.
Pulse Picnic's success propelled the creation of Mining for Music, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a vibrant community that celebrates outdoor musical expression. With a focus on positive social interactions, physical vitality, and the discovery of local talent, Mining for Music invites everyone to join us in experiencing the transformative power of music in the great outdoors.
